|Everton and United victory gives an amazing results for this weekend|
First of all, 10 men Everton beat Manchester City...Leon Osman's first-half thunderbolt and a late curler from Nikica Jelavic were the difference as ten-man Everton beat Manchester City 2-0 and effectively ended whatever lingering Premier League title hopes Roberto Mancini's side retained.
City failed to reply even though Everton were down to 10 men with about 30 minutes to go. It was a display of amazing determination and discipline by Everton.
On the other hand, United won 1-0 against an amazing Reading side. While Reading shows some good control and determination, Wayne Rooney’s scuffed, deflected first-half strike shows that Sir Alex’s men can win ugly as a means to an end. At the end of the day, the 1-0 victory helps Manchester United to go 15 points clear at the top, one of the most commanding position yet in 2012/13 season.
Of course, the defeat of Liverpool against Southampton makes things even better.
