Sir Alex Ferguson retires

The idea of Manchester United without Sir Alex Ferguson?? I think it would be rather difficult....but that is about to happen. Sir Alex Ferguson will be retiring and David Moyes will take over most likely. I am sure it will be a tough road for Moyes....not many people can follow the footsteps of probably the most successful English football club manager.

When Sir Alex Ferguson took over in United, a remarkable quote from him that will always be remembered:

"My greatest challenge is not what's happening at the moment, my greatest challenge was knocking Liverpool right off their f****** perch. And you can print that"

Of course there are many famous quotes such as describing City as noisy neighbors....there are moments that he seem to just lost words....

In 1999, when United won the treble with 2 goals in stoppage time to win the Champions League, he simply said this:

"I can't believe it! I can't believe it! Football! Bloody hell!"

Well, Alex Ferguson is a legend, not just because he helped United won so many cups and titles....but it was the culture, the team spirit and the way United become so much different from other clubs....

HAPPY RETIREMENT SIR ALEX!!
