Camp 5 Climbing Gym

Today, I had my very first wall climbing experience, thanks to Nellie who brought me to Camp 5 Climbing Gym in 1Utama.

I didn't manage to take the photos inside the gym because I was too busy climbing wall. Honestly, the experience was pretty awesome. Nellie was a good coach (a big thank you!!)

Well, it wasn't too tiring but it definitely require strength and a lot of balancing. There must be a need to know how to shift the strength, energy and balance all at the same time.

Check out the rules & regulations that you have to follow:

This is for guests:

Unlike in the normal gym where you can just leave your friends to do workout on your own, here, the guests will have to depend on a HOST member to agree on providing direct supervision while the guests remain in the facility.

For those of you who have never try wall climbing, I think you really should. It is not just about fitness. It is also about thinking on how to overcome the route that you have taken. It also help you to be more patient and looks at things the whole picture before venturing into it. Of course, let's not forget about the excitement and adrenaline rush while you are at the top, looking at how high you are from the ground.

If you are worried about the price, then you don't have to be too concern. Wall climbing is a sport that is considered affordable I think, and fun all at the same time. It is about RM40 per entry including some of the accessories that you will need to borrow for usage. So, if you have heard of wall climbing but have never try before....head to the Camp 5 Climbing Gym in 1Utama and try it. I'm sure you'll enjoy it!!
