Tevez scored while Everton cruise to victory

While some of us are busy looking at the transfer rumors, here are some of the news of the player who left City for Juventus. Former Manchester City striker, Carlos Tevez scored in his appearance for Juventus in a friendly game. The game ended with a win over a Val d'Aosta XI.

On the other hand, Everton cruise to a victory under new manager, Roberto Martinez. The English team won 4-1 against League Two side Accrington.

Defender Marco Motta opened the scoring in a 7-0 victory before Tevez - a £12million signing from Manchester City - doubled Juve's advantage with a cool finish on the stroke of half-time. Alessandro Matri pounced with a third shortly after the break and fellow substitute Mirko Vucinic added two penalties in as many minutes. Academy midfielder Federico Mattiello then dummied the goalkeeper to notch in the 90th minute and Matri made it 7-0 deep into stoppage time. The Bianconeri also handed debuts to former Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente and Italy defender Angelo Ogbonna, recently signed from Torino.

In Accrington, Darron Gibson gave Everton an 11th-minute lead, slotting in from a corner, before Victor Anichebe doubled the Toffees' advantage five minutes later when he nodded home Kevin Mirallas' cross.

The Belgium international added a goal of his own with a well-placed free-kick just before half-time, although Accrington immediately pulled a goal back through Peter Murphy.

Leon Osman sealed the win for Everton shortly after the hour mark.
