Office parking got leakage...

Yesterday I went home very late and was feeling very tired.

And when I saw my car, I was stunt.

There is leakage onto my car...gosh!!

I decided to take the photo of the area where the leakage was...

The car park was kind of flooded...

I couldn't believe I still have the energy to tell the security before I leave...

A nomad's life experience

Have you ever tried a nomad's life? Traveling here and there with a pack of necessity things...imagine a modern nomad's life...carrying all those daily necessity with you in your car, never knowing where you will stay next...

Well, my situation is not that bad...at least I know where to go for the next few days, my aunty and uncle's place...

But I have a bunch of package in my car...

Ironing board, bucket and many other things at the back seats of my car...

And in the boot....the bags and many others...

But one thing good about being a nomad in my uncle and aunty's place is that they cook dinner for me:

It tasted better than it look.

I was also sick during this period, which is much more tiring...

It's definitely tiring but I'll only manage to get a room of my own by this Friday...til then, I'll enjoy my stay here...

Took this photo with my cousin, Jovian at his place...

PIP Camera - Companion for self-snapshots

PIP Camera is another free photography apps for both the Android and iOS. Try searching "pip camera" in Google Play or iTunes App Store and then you are on your way to download and install the app on your smartphone.

The app has the motto " PIP Camera is the best companion for self-snapshots! Make your photos extra fun with creative shots!" which is indeed quite true. It must be one of the best, if it is not the best, especially for people who like to do self-snapshots using smartphones - since most smartphones equipped with the front camera. And since it is free and takes up to 30MB of space for iOS and 17MB of space for Android, the app is worth a try. The app is preloaded with the template use to edit photos and this library of templates is constantly update with the pic-in-pic (PIP - this is how the app get its name, I assume) material.

I only manage to try it on the iPhone 5 which is using iOS 6, and perhaps that is why sharing of the photo to social network like Facebook and Twitter seems so easy. I download some of the pic-in-pic material like iPad and iPhones and have fun editing photos of myself. Good thing is that the app can be use on devices without camera like my iPod Touch, of course you can only edit the photo while for devices with camera, you can directly edit the photo using camera mode - and did not seems to lag on the iPhone 5.

Overall, I found the app is nice and easy to use, and since it's free, it is really worth to download and play with it. It won't hurt to get extra photography app, well, at least to me.

Choon Foong's birthday @ WOW Karaoke Box in Sg Wang

Okay...let's be honest...KianHin is never a Karaoke fan. It is okay to go for Karaoke but I really don't understand how people spent 8 hours singing with their friends. Anyway, I had an experience of that on Wednesday night, when my colleagues decided to celebrate Choon Foong's birthday by going for Karaoke....7pm to about 3am....that's 8 hours!!

Well, it was fun to hang around together after work...to have a simple celebration for a friend who is also a colleague.

Singing with full of emotion...

It was tiring but it was worth while...after all the stress at work, it's good to release it...and singing is definitely one of the best ways to do it...
I also realized that there is an extremely attractive offer for those who love to drink during Karaoke...

either RM1, RM2 or RM3...
Those who went for the Karaoke session were Shea Xian, Natalie, Kev, Lawrence, Ariel, Choon Foong and myself...

Below are some of the snapshots taken...

Foong, Kev, Shea Xian and Natalie

Choon Foong actually fall asleep before the cake was there for him right at 12...big boy finally...haha!!

So what else besides cake and singing? Drinking is definitely part of it....after all, it's only RM1 for one glass...check this out:

Badminton game and Yong Tou Fu dinner with some uni friends

It has been a while since we started playing badminton and it's a good time to get together in a way.

Tom and I bought the shuttlecocks, only to realize that they were too light, making it difficult to use for the games. Anyway, there were still a lot of shuttlecock for us to use so it was never really an issue.

This was where we went to play....in Armanee Condominium, which is quite some distance from where we are staying at the moment. (but it's free...hehe!!)

the badminton court

the new shuttlecock that we bought...wrong choice...zzzz....
I guess we learned our lesson from this so the next time, we will definitely buy the right type of shuttlecock for the game.

It was pretty fun to spend the time together playing badminton. It is also a healthy activity....helps to maintain our fitness although I'm starting to feel some pain on my knee again. Sigh!

Anyway, after the badminton game, we went to have Yong Tou Fu for dinner.

Not that I fancy the food but it was a great time to hang out together with Tom, Ming Yee, Aaron, Bee Geik and Chuah as well. Too bad that Choon Foong was not able to join us for dinner but it was great to have partners for badminton game. I guess it's time to gather a group of people for futsal as well...

Listen! Listen! Listen!

Lately, there have been a very popular video that has been circulating around YouTube. From this video, it just show how ignorant most people are in our country. This was the recorded version from a university. It shows how intelligent people really are in the tertiary education level.

I have to salute the student, Miss Bawani for taking the time to Listen, Listen, Listen. Her courage to stand up, to listen and to be insulted in front of such a big crowd deserves credit.

I found another video by Namewee on YouTube.

Check out the similarities and you will really be laughing off at this. A real joker....but I totally agreed with one thing.

Why is it that we can't compare with another country but we can compare with animals? It is really a joke to have people such as Miss Sharifah Zohra Jabeen.

Loving what you are doing...

It is a common fact that if you love what you are doing, then you will excel in it.

I love Mathematics in school...which is why it becomes my strongest subject. I love blogging, which means writing. My grammar might not be perfect...in fact, it's pretty bad at times but because of the time spent reading and writing, I improved so much that I managed to write a fantastic essay during my MUET exam.

It's all in the mind...but it's not just the mind...it's what is in the mind that pushes one to do.

The other day during the 2012 Great Eastern Central Region Headstart event in PICC, some of my friends were to act a short scene for the unveiling of the company's Supremacy Summit destinations. They enjoyed what they are doing and while the short scene was full of error here and there, I am pretty sure this group of people can improve in time....because they love what they are doing.

That is why after the event, I tried to relax and joined 2 of my friends for dinner...to relax and savour the result of the Event...not perfect, but one that is done by a group of staff who are learning to make things right without an established leader. We went to Sakae Sushi for dinner...

We even ordered some of the sushi for makan....not really my style but it's okay once a while...

and this was my main dinner...Yummy!!
Anyway, food was not the subject here...
The question that I asked myself today is simply as this: Do I love what I'm doing?
Not entirely...but I'm trying to love it more daily...to improve where I was weak, and I see the room for me to learn in the position where I am today. Patience is probably what I need to learn to have as well....I'm definitely hot-tempered and will need to work on that as well...this is where improvement is needed and I find myself loving it when there are things to work on...to improve on. Maybe that's why Goal-Settings become an important part of life.

There was another event yesterday night in a restaurant...the company call it the Gr8 Challenge Dinner

We had abalone....woohoo!! Not that I like it though...

I realized that the team spent quite a lot of time planning on the flow...which is good, and while there are mistakes here and there, I must admit that it was good that the event ended with a lot of smiles...the event was for all the agents and while I'm not a big fan of Agency, I'm happy to see these people being awarded for their hardwork to a certain extend. Disagreement doesn't mean that we can't be happy for others.

These are some of the snapshots taken while I still have time...

the small stage in the Ah Yat Restaurant

the crowd in the restaurant...

a colleague of mine, Stephen busy at the registration counter

Phyllis & Candice

People are still moving around while awaiting for the VIP

Lou Sang!! Chinese tradition...

Ms Chu from Seremban and Jac Ki from Recruitment!!

took this with Alicia

Pang Siang is all smiles, as usual...

JacKi

David Toh & Billy Toh...how's that?

with Gary from Klang....too bad Eric didn't come...

With Alicia after the event ended..
Honestly, it was dead tiring...working with data, trying to manage some of the time to plan and work together on the event flow...but I am trying to love the every single opportunity that I have to learn at this period.

I'm sure I have plenty of weak points...but let's grow and learn together...
