Champions League Final: Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid

Well, Manchester United is out of the competition and the season for a long time this season. Thankfully, there is Real Madrid to watch. It's great to see how Ronaldo continue to score great goals after leaving Manchester United. And the final between Real and Atletico will be awesome.

First of all, Atletico Madrid looks good and organize under Diego Simeone. It's just unbelievable to see how the coach transform a club like how Mourinho used to do it with Porto.

Anyway, here is a key stat that I'm sure most people should know going into the final of this year's Champions League.

Real Madrid, gunning for La Decima, the club's 10th European Cup, represent an attack-first mentality.

By contrast, city rivals Atletico are a homage to defensive resilience and structural discipline. Their band of uncompromising tough tacklers reflects the one-time playing style of manager Diego Simeone.

16 GOALS and 5 assists....

Real Madrid boast the top scorer for the competition as well as one of the competition most prolific creator for goals.

Ronaldo's goal scoring record is amazing and contribute most into Real Madrid's winning but it was also because of player like di Maria. The often inconsistent 26-year-old has emerged as a vital playmaker this season under Ancelotti.

There is also Benzema and Gareth Bale. With a squad as expensive and strong as Real Madrid, the odds may be against Atletico Madrid but don't be too sure about that. Barcelona can be a testament to that.
