Why Bananas are good?

The other day I made dinner (I hardly cook proper meal for myself) and decided to add a banana as part of it as well. I was surprised when a few of my friends asked "Why Banana?"

Well, here are simple reasons why bananas are good? And why you should eat it.

  • Bananas help to overcome depression. This is because of the high levels of tryptophan, which is converted into serotonin -- the happy-mood brain neurotransmitter.
  • Eating two bananas before a strenous workout is good.
  • Protect against stomach cramp during workout and nighttime leg cramps by eating banana.
  • Bananas reduce swelling, protect against type II diabetes, aid weight loss, strengthen the nervous system, and help with the production of white blood cells, all due to high levels of vitamin B-6.
  • High in potassium and low in salt: lower blood pressure and protect against heart attack and stroke
  • Aids Digestion
  • Help prevent kidney cancer, protects the eyes against macular degeneration and builds strong bones by increasing calcium absorption.
  • Control blood sugar and avoid binging between meals by eating a banana.

I mean there are really so much reasons to eat banana...the right question is why not?

And btw, Minions love it as well!!
